Because I definitely do all that to put on a dress in the morning. Yeah… no. Haha. PS, what does this commercial have anything to do with the spray lotion? I don’t get… I don’t get.

Anywho, thanks to @VaselineBrand and @InfluensterVox for letting me try out Vaseline Spray and Go. Most likely won’t be repurchasing, but I’m sure someone will appreciate lazy spray on lotion. :]

Product Review: Colgate Optic White Regimen

Review is based after 19 days, twice a day use.

Colgate® Optic White® regimen includes:
1. Colgate 360 Optic White Toothbrush
2. Colgate Optic White Toothpaste in Sparkling Mint
3. Colgate Optic White Mouthwash in Sparkling Mint

Claims: Use the regimen together for whiter teeth in 5 days

Colgate Optic White Toothbrush
-Fancier than the toothbrushes that I usually get. This one claims to be soft and it IS soft. I love the gentle massage that it gives to my gums when I brush my teeth. Will definitely consider buying this.

Colgate Optic White Toothpaste in Sparkling Mint
-It’s just your plain Jane toothpaste in fancy, sleek packaging. The flavor does leave your mouth feeling fresh and clean, though!

Colgate Optic White Mouthwash in Sparking Mint
-I spat the mouthwash out within 10 seconds of swishing in my mouth the first time I used it because it burned my gums in a way I’d never felt before. But after continued used of it, I found that it doesn’t burn any more. I could have just been sensitive that first day or something… IDK, just thought I’d mention it. But it does leave your mouth feeling even more refreshed and clean!

Verdict: After 5 days of using the products together, I saw that my teeth were a bit whiter than they had been. However, not much more has changed even after continued use of the regimen. I’m still using the products together to this day, just so they don’t go to waste. But with no further whitening happening to my teeth, I don’t find the need to go out and purchase the whole regimen again. As mentioned, I will probably buy the toothbrush, but nothing else. I agree, it whitens teeth within 5 days; but sad to say, it didn’t do much for me after that.

Product Review: NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine

NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City
Price: $2.49 at most department stores

-Pure pigments, 3D-effect shine
Right amount of flecks to add a dash of flattering sparkle on your lips.
-Lips feel moisturized
True! Lasting power of the moisture on my lips is phenomenal!
-Creamy and soft texture
True, again! So soft and so smooth on the lips. Feels like butterrr!
Every gloss has some stick to em, but for this has got to be the least sticky of all the glosses I own. For the most park, this claim is true.

Additional info: The lipshines do have a scent. If you’re familiar with MAC lipsticks and the vanilla scent that they have, it’s similar to that, but a bit more intensified. Personally, I like the scent that it gives. :]

How to wear: You can pair it up with your favor lip liner/lipstick or you can even let it fly solo. I like to put it over my Revlon lipstick in Smoky Rose (pearl finish). My lips are very pigmented already, so these colors together are basically my lip color but better.

Left: Revlon Lipstick in Smoky Rose
Right: NYC Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City

Verdict: LOVE! I don’t know why I always passed this up, but I will definitely be getting other NYC lip products in the weeks, maybe even days, to come. Only downfall is that there aren’t very many colors to choose from; however, that won’t deter me from picking up the ones that I do want! You can own all the colors for the cost of one high end lip gloss! Now that’s something.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque

Though my skin is pretty tough and doesn’t get easily irritated with any products I put on it, I still get a little nervous when it comes to trying new things. I’ve always been curious when it comes to face masks, but never thought to shell out the money for them, even though they’re fairly inexpensive. Thanks to Influenster and Montagne Jeunesse (don’t even ask me to pronounce that because I have no idea how), for allowing my face to try out the goodness that is the Aloe Vera and Willow Clean Up Mud mask.

I followed the instructions on the back: cleanse, apply, relax for 10-15 minutes (I did 15), and rinse. The product says it targets blemishes, and my face is clear of any blemishes, so I can’t make that claim. After removing the mask, my face felt refreshed, hydrated, and soft like a baby’s bottom!

Apart from my super soft skin, another thing I liked was the scent (don’t judge me… haha.)! The smell of the product reminded me of something someone at a spa day would put on you— all those natural, spa-esque scents wrapped into one. Reason being that Montagne Jeunesse’s products are free of parabens and have natural ingredients. Not to mention they’re vegetarian approved and never tested on animals (A+ in my book!).

Where can you get them? I’ve seen them sold at Ulta, Wal-Mart, CVS, and Walgreens for ~$2.

The beauty of these masks is that you can do it before you go to bed or take a shower. Better yet, you can make a girl’s night out of it! And with their array of products, I’m sure you’ll find something that will target your skin needs.
